Robotic arm to Help People Move Paralyzed Mind Control

Like this is not a hoax or a scene in a movie, but it does actually exist. With a device that reads brain waves, a paralyzed woman was able to move the robotic arm just by thinking alone. Shown in a video, with the aid of this woman commanded robotic arms to give him chocolate and help him move everyday items where the robot arm is controlled by the mind!
For Jan Scheuermann, a woman 53 years old from Pittsburgh, the robot arm was like her own arm. He was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder since 13 years ago so the organs paralyzed below the neck and to the total.
"It's really cool," Scheuermann said during a press conference. "I'm moving things. I could not move for about 10 years ... It's not a matter of thinking which way but enough to think 'I want to do it'. "
He shows the robotic arm that fed him cheese and hot chocolate, as well as a series of objects moving objects in a test designed for stroke victims recover, and he was also able to do it as fast as a healthy person in general.
The experts call it a tremendous step forward in which the robotic arm capable of being controlled directly by the brain. Other systems have allow paralyzed patients to type or write a letter with a car through mind control. Developers and scientists predict the technology could eventually be used to cut the nerve damage and revive paralyzed muscles.
Meanwhile, reported the similar system developed by U.S. researchers who are working on making robots which 'exoskeletons' can help the lame to walk.
"It gives new hope," said Michael Boninger, one who worked on the study, "On the first day we helped move the robotic arm, there is tremendous joy smiles at that time. He could think to move his arms and finally happening. "An interesting technology that will provide long-term hope for people who have paralysis, hopefully this technology will be spread to Indonesia.
